The certificate signed on notedthat the Lower Merion-Narberth Watershed Association had adopted and would provide continued care for Mill Creek. Mill Creek was the first ‘adopted’ stream in Pennsylvania. Our latest report and this change in stream status is an opportunity for us to take action as a community in order to protect a place we love-in this case, Mill Creek. Patrick jumped into action to find out more, but sadly we were not surprised by the news. This news came to us right as our Conservation Coordinator, Patrick Gardner, was completing the latest analysis of our data for Mill Creek. About a month ago, the Lower Merion Conservancy got a call from a disheartened angler asking us if we knew why Mill Creek was not going to be stocked with trout this year.
